We have one job: To keep American workers safe
NSA is looking for self-starters who can help support our mission. Are you ready?
Who we are
In 1935, Walter “Wally” Grossman began developing and manufacturing high heat protective apparel for foundry workers, steel pipe manufacturers and welders in his father’s basement in Cleveland, Ohio.
Today, the company is led by Chuck Grossman, Jr., Wally’s grandson, who took over the business from his father, Charlie, in 2007. Under Chuck’s leadership, NSA has grown through acquisition and product expansion. With the support of Blue Point Capital Partners, NSA continues to drive organic growth with new product introductions, geographic expansion and strategic M&A.
With over 1,000 employees across six states and the Dominican Republic, NSA manufactures advanced safety apparel and PPE. Our wide range of products includes electrical safety gear like arc flash PPE and hand protection, thermal and industrial safety solutions, and flame-resistant (FR) clothing for men and women, including everyday work wear, rainwear, and hi-vis apparel. We also proudly supply durable FR and cold weather gear to the U.S. Military and Law Enforcement, and manufacture garments for the Postal Service.

At NSA, our mission is crystal clear. We seek to understand the business challenges of our clients and partner with them to solve problems through innovative solutions.
